The day counter
At the top of Today’s Plan you’ll see a Day X of your recovery label, calculated from the date your document was processed. This counter acts as your anchor: timeline steps and medication schedules are tied to specific recovery days, so AfterCare can surface only what’s relevant today rather than showing your entire guide at once.Medications due today
AfterCare groups your scheduled medications by whether they apply today, based on the frequency instructions in your document.Morning, afternoon, and evening slots
Each scheduled medication appears under the slot it belongs to — Morning, Afternoon, or Evening — with an active chip highlighting which slot is relevant. Tap any card to mark the dose taken. The counter beneath each card (for example, 1 of 2 today) updates as you log doses throughout the day.As-needed medications
Medications without a fixed schedule appear under Only if you need it, separate from timed doses. These won’t generate reminders and aren’t tracked the same way — they’re listed so you remember they exist and can find their instructions quickly.Recovery timeline steps
Below the medication list, Today’s Plan surfaces any timeline steps from your document that fall near the current recovery day — for example, “Week 1: Keep the wound dry” or “Day 7: Begin light walking”. Each step shows the label from your paperwork and the instruction that goes with it.Timeline steps are shown for a window around today, not just a single day.
This accounts for steps that span several days and instructions you may have
missed or not yet acted on.
